The electrical wire will have a separate pocket, preventing the
damage that tape can cause. Tape traps dirt and grit and exposes your
load bearing line to unnecessary abrasion.
The pictures below show what can stick to your tape, even when it is
tightly applied to your Long Line. In addition, you will have to replace
your electrical wire at some point, pulling fibres off the load bearing
line when peeling off the tape. All this will contribute to a shorter
life span of your Long Line.

cover to protect your Long Line and get a longer return on investment.
